The WDMCS Board of Education will hold a workshop meeting, special board meeting, and a regular business meeting on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Learning Resource Center in West Des Moines.

West Des Moines Community Schools invites children ages 2-6 and their grown-ups to Preschool Palooza 2025 on Saturday, April 26 for a day of fun, food, and friendship.

Shane Christensen, Ed.D., current principal at Indian Hills Junior High, has been named the next principal at Valley High School.

Negotiations for the WDMCS 2025-26 teachers' and support staff's contracts will begin March 25 and March 27, 2025.
