Yearbook

• If the Posing/Attire and Photo/File Format requirements are not met, yearbook cannot guarantee that the senior portrait will print clearly. 
• Please make certain your photographer is aware of these requirements before the session. All photos must be submitted by Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, no exceptions.
• All seniors must still have a photo taken during Tiger Launch for student ID cards and Infinite Campus records, regardless of senior photography submissions. This photo will be used if a portrait is not submitted.

• Head and shoulder shot required with space above the head.
• No part of the head may be cut off. 
• All clothing must adhere to the school dress code policy.
• Visible straps and/or shirt/top material
• Recommend no hands by face or leaning against an object due to cropping.
• No props. Other people, animals, sports equipment, instruments, cars, costumes or any other object are not acceptable.
• Nothing obscuring the face including shadows, foliage, hands, etc.
• Hats: can’t obscure face; no ball caps, stocking hats/beanies, costume hats, or funny hats.
• No printing or watermarks allowed on the photo.
• Outdoor photos are allowed.

• Vertical photos only.
• Color photos only.
• Size: 4x6 or larger
• Photos must be high-resolution in JPG/PNG format with a resolution of 300 dpi or greater
• No selfies!
• Pictures using filters from apps (Instagram, VSCO, etc.) and/or applied filters beyond standard photo editing are not allowed - including lighting effects, shadows.
• Must be the original file not pulled from social media, cell phone, or websites - including screenshots!
• The JPEG file must be named/saved as: Senior’sLastName, Senior’sPreferredFirstName

• Submit your photo. Deadline: 6 p.m., Oct. 28, 2024. 
  • Email your senior portrait to yearbook@wdmcs.org.
  • Include the student's first and last name in the subject line. 
  • Professional photographers sending multiple photos at a time can name each email as they see fit.
  • You will receive a generic email confirmation that we've received your photo.
• Wait for the proofing period.
  • Please do not email asking for confirmation of receipt. We cannot respond to individual inquiries.  
  • We will email you directly if you’ve submitted a photo that we can’t accept.
  • You will be able to correct mistakes and/or resubmit during the proofing period. 
• Check the yearbook pages during the proofing period. Deadline: 6 p.m., Nov. 25, 2024.
  • Make sure that we have uploaded your photo to the book, spelled the senior’s name correctly, and have the senior’s preferred name.
  • To guarantee inclusion in the 2025-26 yearbook, it is your responsibility to check the proof pages for accuracy once they become available. 
  • THE PHOTOS MAY APPEAR OFF-CENTERED, but this will be fixed before submission. (Every time we upload a new photo, we have to re-center photos, so we won’t do this until the end.)
• If everything is correct, your senior portrait is ready to go! If not, please email yearbook@wdmcs.org.

Quarter-page and half-page senior recognition and baby ads are available to purchase. The ads are sold as individual units and cannot be combined. You may purchase more than one block if you wish. In order to ensure your blocks appear together, email yearbook@wdmcs.org.

• Final deadline: Sept. 17-Nov. 25, 2024. $65 (quarter page), $120 (half page)
